A stunning Bearded Iris, tall growing variety.
Flowers of rich golds and reddish bronze, held high above the very architectural foliage.
Plants available will have tall leaves cut back to 6-8 inches high, with good rhizome and excellent roots.
Iris 'Kent Pride' is a bearded iris with mahogany red flowers, with orangey yellow beards, and a white tongue with mahogany striping. Upright, sword-shaped leaves of a deep green and elegant, showy flowers, grow Iris 'Kent Pride' as a focal or architectural plant in full sun and with well-drained soil. The flowers are coloured red or orange. Its leaves are strap-like and green - dark. It is known for drought tolerant. This iris can mature to a size of 90cm in height and 60cm in spread after around 2-5 years. It is in category h4 (-10c) and is most accustomed to well drained soil. Prefers full sun. flower.
